Red Meridian is made and operated by its author, an individual developer in Finland working under the name Red Meridian. There is no company behind it, and the game is not a commercial service.

The game is free to play at https://redmeridian.web.app. No account, no payment, no subscription, no advertising. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to load and play the game for your own entertainment.
Red Meridian is copyrighted work and is not open source. The build your browser downloads is delivered so that it can be run, and for nothing else. In particular, you may not:
Your statutory rights are not affected. Nothing above restricts what mandatory law permits you to do regardless of these terms — in particular the rights of a lawful user under Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC (Finland: Tekijänoikeuslaki 25 j §), such as decompilation strictly necessary for interoperability with an independently created program.
Third-party components inside the build remain under their own licences, which are listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md and permit more than these terms do for those components specifically.
This is a hobby project run by one person. The game is provided as is and as available. It may change, break, or be taken offline at any time, without notice and without compensation. Saved progress is stored in your own browser and can be lost by clearing site data, by a browser update, or by a change to the game. There are no server-side backups and none can be restored for you.
To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability is limited to what mandatory law requires. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Finnish law. Consumers' rights under mandatory consumer protection law are not affected by anything in this document.
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published at https://redmeridian.web.app/terms at the time you play, with the date shown at the top. Continuing to play after a change means the updated terms apply. Material changes will be noted on that page.
These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
Before going to court, a consumer in Finland may refer a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) after first contacting the Consumer Advisory Service (kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
